to date or not to date

I'm a young man, so of course I date.  But what is a date.  Can you just ask someone out, then say you are dating, or do you have to actually go on a date?  We'll if you really have to go on a date, then the closest thing I have done is go to the movies with a girl, and her older sister, and her sister's boyfriend.  It was very awkward.  Since I don't have my licenses yet, I can drive a girl around (legally).  I have walked around town with a girl, but I am kinda a player.  I mostly get girls because( not to brag)of my looks.  Once they get to know me, they either love me or hate me.  I am...different.  I'm aggressive (but not towards girls), wild, and get in fights. I'm not the perfect person, but then again, who is.  I don't like to fight, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.  If a girl gets to know me, I'm actually a nice guy, respectful, and smart.  But people just see the outside.  I wish people weren't such judgmental.  But then again, I kinda am too.  I don't date the "popular" girls, they are mostly snobs, some are different though.  I like the smart girls, nothing better.  I just hope to find the right girl.  I have had enough bad stuff in my life, I never will get married if I don't feel it will work.
